POLICIES LIMITED WARRANTY: Palstar, Inc. warrants all products manufactured by it to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery to the first buyer (the "Warranty Period"). The Palstar extended three (3) year limited warranty under these terms specified herein applies to: AT-AUTO, AT5K, AT4K, BT1500A, R30, & ZM30; execept where purchased by the customer at additional cost ($74.95) within thirty (30) days of the time of purchase applies to AT1KM, AT1500CV, AT1500DT, as an extension of the standard one (1) year limited warranty to three (3) years. Palstar, Inc.'s obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the product; at its option at the Palstar factory in Piqua, OH. Effective only when the product is returned to the factory with all transportations charges prepaid and examination of the product discloses in Palstar's judgement, to have been defective during the Warranty Period. The Warranty period shall not extend beyond its original term with respect to interim in-warranty repairs by Palstar. This Warranty Period shall not apply to any product which has been repaired or altered by anyone other than Palstar without prior written authorization. Warranty does not extend to any products which have been subject to damage from natural causes such as lightning, fire and other catastrophes. Warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, aplication or maintenance in accordance with the operating specification. Palstar neither assumes nor authorizes any person to assume for it any obligation or liability other than herein stated. WARRANTY SERVICE: All products requiring service under warranty should be sent to our factory address. A copy of receipt must accompany returns for warranty repair. All related shipping costs are at the customers expense. If you have any questions please call us. RETURNS: Returned items must be received by us in original, as shipped, condition including the original box, manuals, accessories, and copy of sales receipt. Returns must be within 14 days of purchase. Returned items are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Shipping is not refundable. ALL REPAIRS: When sending in a product for service, please "double" box it carefully and ship it insured for your protection. Please include a note clearly describing the problem, how you wish the item returned and how you wish to pay for the service. Package your radio properly. SALES TAX: Palstar.com shall automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax (6.75%) for orders to be delivered to addresses within the state of Ohio. Each customer shall be solely responsible for all sales taxes, or other taxes, on orders shipped outside Ohio. FOREIGN ORDERS: Foreign orders must be payable in U.S. dollars. You may use Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, or Discover card, postal money order or bank check drawn on a U.S. bank with transit numbers imprinted on bottom of the check. The customer is responsible for shipping on warranty service. SHIPPING TO Palstar, Inc.: When you ship your equipment for service it is important that it is packaged properly. Use the original box and packing material if possible. If you do not have the original box, wrap the equipment well with bubble wrap then place this in a box with adequate packing material. All equipment should then be placed in a second box with packing material to help ensure its safe arrival to us. Please be sure to insure your package for its value. Palstar, Inc. will not be responsible for equipment that is damaged in shipment to us. CUSTOMER INFORMATION: Palstar, Inc. does not sell, rent, lease or trade customer information with any other company. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Except as expressly stated herein, Palstar, Inc. makes no representations or warranties, either express or implied, of any kind with respect to products sold on the Palstar.com website, including but not limited to, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. You agree that the sole and exclusive maximum liability Palstar,Inc. arising from any product sold on the Palstar,Inc. site shall be the price of the product ordered.
